Aconitum x cammarum 'Bicolor' (Monkshood)

Thumbnail Photo

Very attractive blue- and white-hooded blossoms bloom late summer through fall. Great at the edge of woodland gardens. Moose don't like this one because it is poisonous to eat. The same rule applies to humans: don't eat this one.

The late-blooming yellow Ligularia are perfect companions. Or for a softer look, plant with pink Chelone 'Hot Lips'.
