Often double flowered, this larkspur offers dramatic spires of very dark bluish-purple flowers with a white bee. All delphiniums--do not let the soil dry out before initial bud breaks but do not water overhead once buds break. Cut back in late fall when goes dormant. We always stake our delphs.
