Eryngium planum 'Blue Glitter' (Sea Holly)

Thumbnail Photo

In our gardens, we have Eryngium planted in a very out-of-the way place yet it gets seen and raved about time and again. It looks as if it would be difficult to grow but it definitely is not. It's terrific for drying, too. 'Blue Glitter' has a shorter crop time than others, a much higher yield of smaller flowers and brighter, shimmering blue color in an unusual height. We also are offering the regular Eryngium 'Sapphire Blue' with a height of 24-30 inches.

Combine with Veronica 'Waterperry Blue', Primula florindae, Doronicum, Penstemon 'Prairie Dusk'.
